Lunar Descent is Closing January 17, 2017 18:27
This decision has been a long time coming, but I know it's the right thing for me now - I'm officially ending and closing Lunar Descent.
The short story is that, even though the majority of my items were handmade, I increasingly felt a disconnect between my personal beliefs and the fast, consumer-oriented culture that surrounds the fashion industry. This isn't to say there aren't plenty of socially conscious brands and small businesses working hard to change these parts of the industry - I just realized it wasn't the battle I wanted to devote myself to.
In no way though do I regret spending so many years and so much time on Lunar Descent. I'm SO grateful for the overwhelming support of all of my friends, family, followers and customers that allowed me to explore such an interesting and creative endeavor. I've met so many amazing people and have had so many incredible opportunities throughout the years because of this brand and I will always appreciate that. ♡
After Lunar Descent ends, tech is still in my future. I have a lot of research and studying I want to do after closing up shop, and after that I have big (at least for me) plans that I'm truly excited about - plans that even though I feel a bit of nervousness along with the excitement, really feel like what I'm meant to be doing with my life.
Again, I can't thank everyone enough for being apart of my Lunar Descent adventure. ♡ As for leftover stock, I'm starting with a 40% off sale at www.LunarDescent.com (no coupon code needed) and will discount items even further as more sizes run out. ♡

Printable Valentine's Cards January 31, 2016 20:03
For the past couple of years, I searched for tech themed Valentine's and really couldn't find any. So this year, I decided to create some for myself and to share. :) All orders from the Valentine's Collection will receive a set for free, but you can also print your own at home!
All I ask is that if you repost these online, please don't crop out the "created by LunarDescent.com." Other than that, print as many out as you want and have fun with it! <3
